4 Things to Remember Before You Buy Fatloss4idiots!

Lose 9 pounds in 11 days! That is the main goal behind Fatloss4idiots, which I have been covering here at Your Health Reporter blog. Now, I want to cover some things that you should really understand before you buy Fatloss4idiots.

Any diet should recommend that you do not consume products merely because the label boasts low fat or fat free. There are some very minor calorie differences between many low fat products and their full fat counterparts.

The whole low-fat craze is not entirely bad. Yes, the manufacturers take advantage of our obsession with weight loss, but there are good reasons NOT to eat too much fat. A diet high in saturated and trans fat can lead to cardiovascular disease, obesity, diabetes and even some types of cancer such as breast or prostate cancer. HOWEVER, you can become overweight or obese by eating too much of anything whether it has a lot of fat or not.

The rule of thumb here is to make wise choices. Fat free milk is better than whole milk and if you drink milk, choose fat free or low fat. However, you cannot eat an entire box of cookies just because they are low fat or fat free and expect to lose weight. You cannot maintain a thin appearance for long if you eat low fat potato chips like they are going out of style. Cookies and potato chips simply do not belong on the regular menu.

Another important thing to remember is that restricting too many calories (very low calorie diets) is a bad thing. Fat Loss 4 Idiots does offer rapid weight loss, but they do so by using their shifting calorie theory. This weight loss plan provides 4 meals per day for each of the 11 days and it is not a very low calorie diet.

What about carbohydrates? Low-carb diets are not necessarily the answer to weight loss because they often put too much emphasis on avoiding carbohydrates and dieters tend to focus on avoiding bread while they go ahead and eat high fat meats. They also tend to avoid the good carbohydrates that actually help you lose weight such as whole grains, fruits and veggies.

The bad types of carbohydrates ARE eliminated in Fat Loss 4 Idiots. Junky carbohydrates are overly processed, full of sugar and fat, AND they lack any sort of nutritional value. We simply cannot continue to eat cookies, chips and sugary cereals and expect to be thin. You can indulge now and again, but you should not make these things a part of your everyday food intake.

Last but not least, you might be wondering about other weight loss programs. Does Jenny Craig work? How about Weight Watchers? I am asked these questions quite a bit and my answer is always the same: Maybe. They work for some and not for others. Many people do not like the food. Others simply cannot afford to stay on these somewhat expensive diets long enough to achieve their weight loss goals.

When you make this important decision, keep in mind everything we just talked about as well as the will it work for me? factor. Is the diet something that you can afford? Is the diet simple? Will I meet my weight loss goals with Fat Loss 4 Idiots?
