Steps for the treatment of cellulite
AFFIRMATIONS - the right food choices. Make the right, healthy balanced food choices. Choose one or two affirmations from the following: O Reveal a clear, healthier, happier in you. O Think control in yourself. O Take responsibility of your physical self, wellness and your health. O Eat to nourish your mind, body and spirit.
A cellulite should avoid as much as possible oily fish, some of the vegetables (broad beans, split peas, soya), all dry fruits, milk products, tobacco, ail confectionery, all spicy things (mustard, pickles, garlic) and drinks. Eat meals at regular hours (do not eat between meals). Try hard to eat in peace, away from noise and be completely relaxed during meals. A cellulite will need only a cooling diet, rich in green vegetables and well-balanced menus.
We must shun stuffy atmospheres and crowded streets as much as possible because of our need for this vital force. Start breathing in gently, first inflating the upper part of the thorax, and moving arms to the horizontal position and then slightly backwards, The complete breathing in process should take 6 to 12 seconds. Breathing out should be done slowly. Begin by collapsing the upper part of the chest, then the lower part, and end by contracting the stomach. To empty the chest completely, lower the arms, the shoulders and the head bent slightly forward and back slightly arched.
Adequate rest and massage techniques are your best friend. The best time for massage is in the morning, when the inflammation of the cellulite tissue is at its minimum. Cellulite is always more evident in the evening because of fatigue. Morning massage can be deeper, hence more effective. Do the massage three times a week, about 35 minutes each time, having draining for 5 minutes, roll-massage for 5 minutes, rapid massage on all the least affected areas for 10 minutes, direct massage on most painful areas for 10 minutes and general draining movements for 5 minutes.
Blood circulation has to be improved. Body brushing the skin is an ancient therapeutic practice which exfoliates and tones your skin, helps slow the skin’s aging process, increases circulation and alleviates muscle tension. You can also use exfoliating loofahs. To make loofah scrub: Mix 1-2 drops each of lemon oil and fennel seed oil in a vegetable scrub (which contains papain enzymes). Make a paste by adding water, rub with soft brush gently to avoid scraping your skin.
The detox diet works well to flush out toxins and gives a healthy surge of vital energy to the body. A 5-day detox program is described below. During the course of this program you can drink unlimited quantities of warm water. But avoid drinking cold water, tea, coffee, alcohol and sugar. A daily 30-minute brisk walk is a must to keep muscles fit and fine.
Other tips:- O Combat constipation-. People who are constipated on a regular basis usually have cellulite. Eat plenty of high-fibre foods like green vegetables and grains every day.
O Improve eating habits: Chew your food thoroughly and forgo late night snacks. Drink beverages at room temperature rather than ice-cold. Ice constricts your esophagus and stomach, hindering the flow of digestive enzymes into your stomach.
O Correct waste-removal system of body: The following techniques will open up the blood vessels in and just below your skin and keep your waste- removal system working properly.
