I don’t care how old you are, it’s necessary to spend some time daily or weekly to engage in some form of exercise, if you want to prevent diabetes. You see, inactivity has been noticed as a very likely cause of diabetes. So, prevent this by engaging in lots of exercises daily or certain number of times weekly.

I am yet to see people that engage in regular exercises and eat the right diet that end up with diabetes. So, yes, it’s true that if you constantly engage in exercises, rather than just sitting pretty in one spot each and every day, you can prevent diabetes.

It can get pretty boring exercising alone, as a diabetic, especially since you have to exercise all the time. To help you find fun in exercising, get a friend or someone that also needs to be exercising daily and work together. It’s usually fun when you are involved in the same thing with someone else, instead of doing it all by yourself.

Instead of adopting an attitude of “it’s over for me”, why not see diabetes as a unique opportunity for you to live life to the fullest. You can see it as an opportunity to be able to take full charge of your life and take full charge of what you eat, drink and how you live. With diabetes, you can’t take things for granted anymore. You can now better take care of your life and live much longer and healthier than you probably should have - because you are now much more careful.

Taking of injections of insulin each and every day can help keep a type 1 diabetic patient alive. I know how difficult this might be - to take daily injections, but it’s important if you truly desire to live much longer.

Unlike type 1 diabetes where daily injections are compulsory, you can survive type 2 diabetes with just oral medications, exercises, improvements in your diet, as well as managing your weight. And of course - with the right guide, advice and recommendation from your doctor.
