1. Chow Down: Sometimes new Moms can’t even get a bite in when dealing with the demands of taking care of a baby and a household. Skipping meals is never a good idea if you want to trim your tummy simply because it slows down your metabolism. Make sure to have six small meals a day that include all your balanced food groups.

2. Nap time: It can be hard to get a good nights rest with a newborn. The key is to take naps when your baby does because getting some extra shuteye will help those muscles rest and your body can take a break.

3. Walk away the Pounds: Trim your tummy just by walking around the block. If you are intimidated by a hard cardio routine at first, then just start by incorporating walking into your schedule. Take the stairs instead of the elevator or go for a power walk with friends instead of being a couch potato.

4. Weights Burn the Fat: Burn the baby fat by burning your calories with weights. Using free weights at home will help your sculpt those arms and tone your body. 7. Got Water?: Everyone knows the significance of water but people often forget that it can help you trim your tummy. Your body often mistakes thirst for hunger so instead of getting a cool glass of water, you snack when you don’t need to.

8. Speed it up: Getting a few quick cardio sessions in throughout the day is better than those long runs that your body gets used to. Interval training with sprints, jogs and walking will keep your heart working and getting stronger. Trim your tummy by speeding up your Cardio routine.

9. Stretch: Whether it is Yoga or Pilates or maybe just a light stretch in front of the TV - stretching is vital to staying healthy and when you are trying to trim your tummy. Muscles respond and repair better with stretching and you can get a more quality workout!

10. Have fun: If you make exercising and losing the pregnancy weight a chore then you won’t want to do it. Have fun with your cardio, eating and weights. Incorporate your family, involve friends and make it work within your schedule. If you do that you will burn the baby fat faster!
