How to Think Yourself Thin

Rhonda Byrne’s book, “The Secret” has been a best selling book for months. It’s hard to go into any store and not see the book on display. What makes “The Secret” so popular is that it teaches how to put the law of attraction to work in your life.

There are countless stories about how “The Secret” has been used by people to turn their lives around.

Can the law of attraction help us reach our perfect weight and become healthy and happy? Yes, it can. Actually, the law of attraction is what led you to where you are today. Yep, those love handles and hips were attracted by you.

So far you’ve used the law of attraction to manifest your favorite pizza, nachos, or whatever your weakness food is that you fantasize about.

Yep, that’s right. You are fat because you have thought yourself fat. Sorry if I offended you, but it’s true.

If when you think about happiness you think about food, then your experience will be that to be happy you must eat. See, it’s not the food that makes you happy. It’s your thoughts about the food.

So how does this apply to weight loss and a new thinner you?

It goes like this: a thin, fit person thinks about those things that will make him or her thin or fit. When a thin, fit person fantasizes, it is about the run they’re going to have at lunch time and how good it’s going to make them feel. So that thought becomes their reality. They go have a run at lunch and they feel good afterwards.

Don’t think fat thoughts. Don’t associate food with happiness. Don’t dwell on hunger. If you feel hunger then tell yourself it’s your body telling yourself that it’s time to exercise and then go for a walk. Interrupt those negative thoughts.

Who is in charge of your thoughts? You or that little voice? Who is that little voice? Well, it’s who has gotten you in to this weight. Yep, that voice has made you who you are.

Put “The Secret” to work for you. Write down and visualize yourself being thin, feeling fit, and enjoying exercise.

Think about how good you are going to feel with your pants or skirt feeling loose. Think about the compliments you will get about your weight loss. Think about how good you are going to feel after you walk 30 minutes on the treadmill.

Change your thoughts about yourself, food, and workouts and you will be using “The Secret” to manifest a thin new you.
